Green Light Ink was established as a screenprinting company in Hendersonville, NC in 2004. It was named after all of the green lights that adorn Church Street with the feeling of satisfaction when you reach the crest of the hill and there are only green lights ahead of you in mind. In 2016, the original owners sold the company to current owners John and [insert wife’s name here] Coker, and moved to its current location at 218 West Allen Street, just off of Church Street, further resonating with the name. With a relatively small team, three full-time and one part-time member, Green Light is known for producing quality material, economically and on-time.
What started as a hobby is now a full-fledged screenprinting business with a stellar reputation both locally and regionally. Around Hendersonville, you might recognize Green Light's work on the shirts made for businesses like Hendough, The Apple Festival, Black Bear Coffee, The Hub, The Gorge, Green River Adventures and WNCW. John has a history in the printing business and has enjoyed furthering his printing expertise to include screenprinting.
